Our clinic, in operation since 1995, serves animals and pet owners in the Kansas City metro area and throughout the Midwest. VADC is an independent practice located within the Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Clinic (VSEC/BluePearl) building. Dr. David Senter and Dr. Michelle LeRoy and their team of experienced technicians work together with the referring veterinarian, and if necessary, the other specialists in our building in order to create the best treatment plan for our patients. We strive to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while determining the ROOT cause of your pet's skin or ear problem.
Dr. Senter and Dr. LeRoy are the only Board Certified dermatologists in the Kansas City metro area.
Veterinary dermatologists specialize in allergies and all diseases of the skin, hair, nails, and ears. Routine services provided include complete dermatologic examination, cytologic evaluations, skin scrapings, hair examinations, and fungal or bacterial cultures. Advanced diagnostics include intradermal allergy testing, skin and nail biopsies, histopathology, cryosurgery, video otoscopy with deep ear canal and ear drum evaluations, and carbon dioxide laser surgery. General veterinary services, such as routine health care and vaccinations, are not available. Equine patients are typically seen at your barn, or at one of our haul in facilities in the area.
