Great Lakes Orthopedics & Sports Medicine has been providing for more than 10 years as a full service Sports Medicine and General Orthopedic multi-site, patient focused, physician driven, patient care environment that is the culmination of many years of hard work to create and care for family, friends, and those who are in need of Great Lakes Orthopedics related care and assistance.  The ability to provide X-ray diagnostic services and ultrasound guided procedures on site are examples of the patient focused approach and design to seek the best patient care approach to improve the patient’s level of health and ability to function at their desired abilities.
We also provide onsite insurance and billing assistance in addition to a fully automated electronic medical record with patient internet access to reduce the burden of navigating unfamiliar areas for patients to allow them to concentrate on participating in their healing process and to again return to their desired level of participation, whether it be football, basketball, soccer, hockey, golf, bowling, tennis, fencing, or merely climbing stairs without constant pain and or suffering.
We provide Work Conditioning programs.  Work Conditioning is a highly structured, goal oriented, individualized treatment program designed to maximize the person’s ability to return to work. Work conditioning programs are multi-disciplinary in nature with the capability of addressing the functional, physical, behavioral and vocational needs of the person served.
In summary, we specialize in sports medicine, namely injuries of the ACL, rotator cuff, meniscus repairs, complex instability of the knee, shoulder pain, elbow and hip pain. Other specialties include adolescent sports medicine, injury prevention for athletes of all ages, as well as shoulder and knee orthopedic expertise, and occupational health, foot and ankle orthopedics. We also provide the treatment of additional conditions such as bursitis, tendonitis, sprains, strains, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, tennis/golfers elbow, fractures, and industrial and overuse conditions.
