We rescue puppies and full grown dogs, 90% of which are heart worm positive. This is a literal death sentence in an overcrowded shelter where there’s little chance that anyone will adopt them in time. The Joshua Fund pays for the basic medical care and needs for every dog we rescue, and, when necessary, also pays for the heart worm treatment and required bed rest for heart worm positive dogs.
