This person has been a very special person to me in my life. I am raising funds in honor of him to be shared with all the very special students that attend Peer Academy.
James is 37 and high functioning. He was diagnosed when there wasn't alot known about the spectrum and had a very bad experience through his school years. He's a big guy with a big heart, and even with his health issues he remains positive and takes on the role as the sibling who looks after our Widowed father.
With a school like Peer Academy in Knoxville, James would have gotten the individual attention and would have been treated special instead of as a delinquent.
