Gold Coast Eagle Distributing was created when John W. Saputo purchased the distributorship from the Goodman family (Twin City Distributors) on November 1, 1996. Mr. Saputo has managed or owned distributorships in Michigan, New York, and North Carolina before coming to Florida. The company sells and markets all brands produced by Anheuser-Busch, Modelo/Corona, and many Import and Craft beers in Manatee and Sarasota Counties in Southwest Florida. (See our list of suppliers below). The company services over 1600 supermarkets, convenient stores, bars, restaurants, clubs, and taverns on a weekly basis. The company employs about 160 sales, service, and support associates and runs 40 trucks per day. Gold Coast Eagle Distributing is the 51st largest of 650 Anheuser-Busch Beer Distributors in the United States. Gold Coast Eagle Distributing is located off of University Parkway in the fast-developing community of Lakewood Ranch. This new 170,000 sq. ft. building, includes a beautiful Hospitality Center equipped with a fully functioning Tasting Rotunda, Beer Garden, and Conference Room that will hold up to 200 people! This State of the Art "Beer Estate" sits on 23 acres of land and is handsomely decorated and stunningly landscaped.
