GLI Distributing
History
GLI Distributing is a family owned business in operation since 1982 when Bobby and Jack Gillis bought Williams Distributing, the local Schlitz distributor. Since that time the company has purchased other beer assets and territories to diversify the portfolio and build to what it is today. GLI specializes in the fast growing import and specialty beer category as well as local favorites like Lone Star and Shiner Bock.

We are a team of passionate beer professionals who offer our market a choice of the highest quality beer brands. We strive to conduct our business with the highest level of customer service possible, and in so doing provide the best service of any distributor in our market.

We strive to provide the best possible customer service in our industry by respecting our customers’ desires, following up on commitments, and never stopping until the customer is happy.
Knowledge. It is our job to be experts in our beverage field and to share this knowledge with our customers in order to help grow their businesses profitably.
Suppliers. We have many suppliers that manufacture and import the products we sell, and we commit to each of them to do the best job possible to represent their products in our market. This includes sharing financial commitments and executing all mutually agreed upon plans to the best of our ability every day. Together, these partnerships strengthen our company and our brands.
