The West Des Moines Community Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life throughout West Des Moines by investing in area nonprofits through our grant programs and by providing individuals, families and area businesses who love our community with a way to give back.
Their goal is to make a positive impact in the community by supporting artistic, cultural, recreational, historic, social and natural resources. They provide grants that support a variety of initiatives such as: Booster Pak Program, Historical Society’s Jordan Scholar program, WDM Human Services’ transitional housing and holiday meals, Children & Families of Iowa programs, WDM Public Arts exhibitions and more.
