Leading Edge Take Heart 5K

This year will be the 7th year that Leading Edge and Take Heart will host their LETH 5K! Every year this race makes a global impact in the lives of orphans and widows in rural Kenya and every year this is the one race I show up for!

My connection to Take Heart goes all the way back to sitting with Delta’s mom in my 20s hearing of her stories of mission work she had done. Fast Forward to today and my heart truly sees the vision for Take Heart and what God has in store for their future.

 My goal every year for the race is to finish, but this year I want to finish well in another way, and that is in helping share the mission of Take Heart and finish the goal that is set to raise $100,000 dollars. The funds raised goes towards education and entrepreneurship projects in the Oyuma Village community  These beautiful young men and women have so much talent that is waiting to be revealed and discovered.
