This May, I am participating in the Hunger Walk, benefitting Emergency Food Network (EFN).
EFN is the central nonprofit food distributor for Pierce County, serving a network of more than 75 food pantries, meal sites, and shelters. In 2024, EFN saw a dramatic increase in community members seeking food assistance– their network supported more than 3 million visits, nearly twice as many as in 2019. Not only am I participating in the Hunger Walk, I am also raising additional funds to support EFN. Every dollar helps EFN distribute more than a million pounds of food each month, feeding neighbors in need all across the county.
