Child and Family Charities creates bridges to hope, changes lives, builds resilience, and strengthens families! For over a century, Child and Family Charities has been a steadfast pillar of hope and healing for Michigan’s most vulnerable populations. Founded in 1911 on the belief that every child deserves the same love and opportunity we would want for our own, the agency now delivers more than 30 life-changing programs to over 20,000 children, youth, individuals, and families each year. Through a dynamic blend of prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery services, Child and Family Charities addresses the complex needs of those facing adversity—from homeless youth and first-time offenders to families navigating trauma and foster care.
Strategic mergers over the years have expanded our reach and impact, including the integration of Teen Court, Child Abuse Prevention Services, Gateway Youth Housing Services, and Operation Good Cheer. Today, with a newly renovated, centralized campus in Lansing, Child and Family Charities is better equipped than ever to serve the community.
Your support fuels this mission, helping ensure that every person who walks through our doors finds not only resources but resilience, compassion, and a path forward.
