Girls on the Run (GOTR) Greater Boston inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. In GOTR's after school program, trained, caring coaches lead girls through a proven national curriculum, teaching the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of physical activity as well as social-emotional skills for navigating the challenges of adolescence. Each season concludes with a celebratory 5K event where the girls complete 3.1 miles at their own pace, giving them a tangible sense of accomplishment and a framework for setting and achieving goals throughout life.
