In memory of Judy Gorewitz and her son, Marc Gorewitz, we invite all of you to join our team, Marc & Judy's Joggers for this year's Run for the Rose 5K and Family 1K, benefiting the Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation for the treatment and research of brain cancer. The race will be held at Rice University in Houston on Sunday, April 14th at 8 AM.
The Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation is one of the largest donors towards brain cancer research in the U.S., having donated over $7 million since 2003. The foundation has made a difference in the fight against brain cancer, supporting MD Anderson Cancer Center, Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital, and the University of Texas Medical School.
Those who knew Judy remember her love of life, especially towards her family and friends. We also remember her long, valiant battle with this affliction. Her loving and dedicated son, Marc helped spearhead her care and then tragically was lost to brain cancer as well. Their spirit and fight for a cure for brain cancer reside with us now.
