Our services include design and consulting.Shore Canvas was founded in 2008 by Maryland native Mike Pugh, a skilled textile fabricator whose life revolves around the Chesapeake Bay. He grew up sailing and later lived aboard in Annapolis, racing with the CBYRA in his spare time. His passion became his craft as a sail-maker at North Sails. To meet the need for custom canvas manufacture, he founded Shore Canvas and began providing design, manufacture and consulting services on his own. His seasonal boat canvas business quickly expanded and grew into a full service year-round custom canvas, upholstery and awning manufacturing company. In 2011 the company moved into its present 10,000 square production facility on Statum Road in Denton, Maryland. The experienced craftsmen and his staff at Shore Canvas enjoy a solid reputation for quality and customer service. Together with the Pugh family, they continue to grow the company and expand its capabilities.
