With her diagnosis of Peters Anomaly, Ellie is blind in her left eye. Shortly after she was born, we were fortunate enough to establish a relationship with the Delta Gamma Center. Ellie had a dedicated vision and physical therapist who helped her explore her world, despite having partial blindness. We also benefitted greatly from the family support and education provided by the Delta Gamma Center, such as being connected with other families in similar situations. The funds raised through Run for Sight directly support these services, and more!
While we no longer live in St. Louis, we are eternally grateful for the care we received as we navigated all of the appointments, questions, and worries that go along with receiving a new diagnosis. We are excited to give back and support the Delta Gamma Center through this annual fundraiser!
