Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. was established in 1928 by E. William and Angelina Perrelli Iovanne. They first operated out of a small store front building on Chapel Street in New Haven at a time when wakes and funerals were done in the home. Their ideas toward funeral service were simple, "Always treat a person the way you want them to treat you." Today, second and third generation directors E. William Iovanne and William G. Iovanne and the entire staff at Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. still feel the same way about how people should be treated. The Iovanne reputation was built on honesty, integrity and trust.
