USA Women's Half Marathon The Hamptons NY

100% of funds raised from charity entries will go to Southampton Hospital breast cancer research. Never thought I was the marathon type, but this one feels worth it. As I train and build on these longer runs, I think of my Aunt Maggie. She battled breast cancer for years and ultimately we lost her in 2017. She has been a North Star for me as I prepare to run this race. When my energy starts to waver I remember I'm honoring and celebrating her spirit. This life is precious and I'm so blessed to call on this network of loved ones to support me in this race. Shout out to my two amazing cousins Hannah and Rory who convinced me to run with them (fabulous thing to do after you break up with your boyfriend, highly recommend!!!) Cheers to the warriors who have battled and won, and who have battled and lost. F*ck breast cancer, let's raise some money to bring the bitch down.
