Siouxland Child Protection Council was created to allow individuals an opportunity to:
provide education and information on the incidence, causes, nature, effects, and prevention of child abuse and neglect to the community at large and to professionals in the community who deal with child abuse and neglect. Council members also monitor pending legislation and lobby for adequate legislation for children and families. SCPC collaborates with other individuals and organizations with like-minded goals to strengthen and enhance services to children and families.
