USASA South Tahoe Series is a local non-profit dedicated to Snowboard and freeski youth competition development. Serving the South Lake with 17-20 events held at Sierra at Tahoe each Winter, the South Tahoe Series is one of 33 series under the United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Series. There are approx 150 local athletes in the South Tahoe Series who compete every year in freeski and snowboard events.
