Ladera Ranch and Rancho Mission Viejo (The Ranch) are two master-planned communities adjacent to Antonio Parkway between Crown Valley and The Ortega Highway on portions of the original O'Neill, Avery, & Moiso families' 23,000 acre Rancho Mission Viejo cattle ranch.
They are unincorporated, managed by the County of Orange and feature a number of amenities for active families.
The economic engine of the community is its 1.75 million square feet of retail distributed among six centers:
Bridgepark Plaza, Los Patrones Business Park, Mercantile West, Mercantile East, Sendero Marketplace and the Terrace Shops
