I'm running/biking the distance of the Blue Ridge Parkway to raise money for FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway. FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway is a membership-based, National Park Service Blue Ridge Parkway partner organization that provides volunteers and funding for projects, special events, and NPS programs along the Parkway. Through volunteerism, giving and partnerships, FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway connects people with the park we love, helping to protect and promote an irreplaceable national resource. Your help supports necessary Parkway educational and interpretive events, maintains and improves Parkway lands and assets as well as major Parkway sites along America's favorite drive.
