Hello friends/family/colleagues,
This July, I will be taking part in The Great Bicycle Tour – TGBT XXXVII for the 15th year in a row. I’m so excited about it and I need your help! I was one the Board at San Mar for over 12 years and volunteered directly with the kids they serve. I know first hand the quality of care and commitment that San Mar has to this community.
You may be wondering, what is The Great Bicycle Tour (TGBT) and why am I riding it? Well, TGBT is an amazing 4-day, 184.5-mile ride along the C&O Canal. It is hosted by a wonderful nonprofit organization, San Mar Family and Community Services, as its major annual fundraiser.
There are so many reasons for doing this special ride: to make a difference, a bucket list ride, a challenge, etc. But the most important thing that happens as a result, is that children and families who are facing some tough situations, will be helped and supported.
