Story

The Genesis Battlegreen Run is BACK!
This annual tradition is celebrated by the local community for both the spirit of the event and the incredible fundraising achieved by participants for local nonprofits. The funds donated to Lex Rec will support scholarships for individuals and support for our disability programming. 

 

Thanks to support from this race and other donors, Lexington Recreation and community program has done the following in the past year:
  • provided services for 130 unique participants with disabilities 
  • fulfilled 424 inclusion requests 
  • provided support within 74 unique programs 
  • Provided over $45,000 of financial aid for recreation programs and memberships
