Hi! I’m Campbell’s mommy and I will be walking and running in her honor at this year’s race. I also will be walking/running in honor and memory of the babies of the wonderful mommies and daddies I have met on my journey of loss. It is my mission to continue to remember and cherish the lives of these perfect babies by supporting Out of the Ashes Foundation and all the ways they serve the bereaved parents community.
Campbell Josephine Eudy, my perfect 2nd daughter, was born on December 15, 2023 and passed away 9 days later on Christmas Eve. After her death, I didn’t know how I would live without her. The only thing I could do was lean on God to help me through the grief. God answered my prayers and brought me to the amazing people at Out of the Ashes. The people I have met and resources I have used through Out of the Ashes have completely changed my life and helped me use my story and my grief for good.
Over the past year and a half since Campbell’s death, I have created lifelong friendships with other bereaved parents, attended events and support groups, fundraised and participated in last year’s race, volunteered on the medical bill relief program committee, attended A Good Pour event, and made 31 white/blue/pink crochet roses for Bereaved Mother’s Day, all through many wonderful resources and programs that Out of the Ashes provides.
I have received healing beyond what I could imagine through God and the work of the Out of the Ashes Foundation. Through this fundraiser, I strive to not only raise money to further Out of the Ashes wonderful mission and resources but also to raise awareness of all the amazing things they are doing for the pregnancy/infant loss and infertility community.
My Campbell girl’s life on Earth may have been short, but her impact from heaven will be long lasting.
