That their hair won't recover by prom, and college may need to wait. But the most unimaginable, parents who have needed to say good-bye to their children.
Seattle Children's treats over 330 new cancer patients a year covering the largest geographic of any hospital in the country. With nearly 20 labs focussed on pediatric research, cures are coming but not fast enough. Less than 4% of a dwindling federal commitment to science and research is delaying progress, and we need to do better.
