Our twin daughters, Lucy and Josie, are just babies—but they are already in the fight of their lives. Both have been diagnosed with infant acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), and are currently enduring intense chemotherapy and extended hospital stays as we hope and pray for their healing.
We chose to form Team Lucy and Josie for this year’s Run for Hope, because we believe in action, community, and most importantly: hope. Every mile we run—and every dollar you give—supports vital pediatric cancer research. Right now, only 4% of all federal cancer research funding goes toward cures for pediatric cancers—a crisis we can’t afford to ignore.
