The Thomas Scully Foundation was founded in the loving memory of Thomas Scully by his family and friends. Thomas was a kind, loving and compassionate boy who was loved by all. The happiness he exuded was contagious, even while enduring things that no-one should. His strength, determination and resilience inspired all who came in contact with him. Thomas passed away at the age of 12 because of Anaplastic Ependymoma, an aggressive malignant brain tumor that had originally been discovered when he was 8 years old. Through his foundation, we carry on Thomas' compassion and joy by supporting children with cancer and their family.
Our mission is to bring "A Little Bit of Happiness" to children with cancer today, while supporting a cure for tomorrow. We are fulfilling our mission with "A Little Bit of Happiness" care packages that bring comfort and joy to the children stuck in local hospitals. We also support a cure for tomorrow by providing "A Little Bit of Hope" Grants to families seeking innovative treatment for their child.
