Humane Society of West Michigan is a 501c3 non-profit serving the West Michigan community. HSWM relies solely on grant funding and donations to operate and while they help so many animals in need they also do SO much more. Community programs and training are also large parts of HSWM. Some of my favorite programs offered by HSWM are Kibble Konnection (which provides food to low income families), low income vaccine and microchip clinics and the ongoing behavior and training support that is offered to adopters. There are also multiple educational platforms that HSWM offers to help all ages and stages of the community understand why animal welfare is so important. Join me by supporting the mission and/or signing up for the virtual walk/run at www.barkinthedark.org
