African Community Center in Las Vegas (ACC-LV) opened its doors in 2003 welcoming only 79 refugees. Over the years, it has grown to a capacity of resettling up to 500 refugees annually. Today, ACC-LV administers the Reception and Placement, Refugee Support Services, Refugee Cash Assistance and the Matching Grant programs. Additionally, ACC-LV continues to develop new programs that respond to the needs of newcomers in the Las Vegas metropolitan area and continues its reach into the mainstream community to increase awareness about refugees and other newcomers. http://acc-lv.org/
