I'm participating in an annual fundraising event, the National Run for Refugees Virtual 5K, sponsored by the Ethiopian Community Development Council in the Washington, D.C. area and benefitting the African Community Center here in Denver. The African Community Center provides resettlement, employment, and integration programs and services to refugees hailing from countries all over the world.
