Hi Everyone, I have registered to do this 1 mile walk to raise money for Sarcoidosis research.
As many of you know, I have stage 4 systemic Sarcoid that affects every organ, muscle, bone in my body. I have lost my spleen, my eyes, and have had dozens of surgeries and hundreds of medical “procedures” over the years. I had to take weekly chemo drugs from 2007-2019. I had 5 years of no meds, but in November my world crashed again.
i’m slowly building my strength back. This disease affects everyone differently and so it’s difficult to diagnose and treat.

Thank you for supporting my fundraiser for the Life & Breath Foundation for Sarcoidosis. Their mission is to provide the Sarcoidosis community with the vital resources needed to manage their care and to offer a supportive environment where they can be empowered.
The primary goals are:
- to offer the Sarcoidosis community effective tools to track their journey, decipher medical issues and maximize their quality of life
- to provide a nurturing environment for those affected by Sarcoidosis to share their experiences and
to build more awareness within the medical community to help combat this chronic disease.
