1891 Fredonia Opera House Run

Race starts and finishes at the Fredonia Village Hall and Opera House

The course begins on Day St. between Lambert and Church Streets adjacent to the Village Hall parking lot, and ends on Church St. directly in front of Village Hall.  It includes portions of Temple St., Central Ave. and Brigham Rd., as well as a portion of Ring Road on the State University of New York at Fredonia campus.  It is USATF-certified as Course #NY17080JG <-- Click for official USATF Map

There is a short, small incline at the start of the course; otherwise, this is a flat, fast course. 

Pre-registration

- $25 for adult runners or walkers

- $15 for students (age 21 and under)

Day of Race Registration

- $30 for adult runners or walkers

- $15 for students (age 21 and under)

T-shirts are guaranteed to those who register prior to April 11.

All registrants' names will be entered into a random drawing for a variety of prizes.  Winners' names will be drawn the day of the race.

Non-Participant Donation 

As this is a fund-raiser, donations are accepted from those wishing to support the Opera House, but unable to participate.

Packet Pickup

The Opera House will provide Swag Bags for all participants.  Bibs and Swag Bags can be picked up on Sat., Apr. 23, 9am – noon, at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House, 9 Church St., Fredonia. For those who register prior to Apr. 11, t-shirts will be included.

Awards medals will be awarded to:

• the First, Second and Third Place male and female finishers overall
• the First, Second and Third Place male and female finishers in age groups:
  • 14 & under
  • 15-19
  • 20-29
  • 30-39
  • 40-49
  • 50-59
  • 60-69
  • 70-75
  • 76 & over
