Never Forgotten Race & Walk

The Ketchikan Running Club is happy to welcome back the Never Forgotten Race & Walk! We're honored to host this event and support our American Legion Auxiliary Unit 3. Online registration will close at 12:00pm on Friday, September 20th, but you can register in person during bib pickup at Ketchikan Rec Center from 4pm - 6pm on Friday night. We will not offer day-of registration for this event so make sure to register now!

Join the community in honoring the service of our military heroes featuring a 1-mile & 5-km. Registration is $15 for 1-mile & $25 for 5-km and includes a silipint glass (logo designed by Jason Mecham) and post-race snacks. Portion of proceeds support American Legion Auxiliary - Ketchikan Unit 3. 

The race is Saturday September 21, 2023 with start times: 0900 for 1-mile & 0930 for 5-km. The routes are being submitted for approval for safety/permit - stay tuned! Last minute bib pick up only (no registration) will be available for all events from 8:15-8:45 race morning at the starting line - please plan accordingly.  

If you can't run or walk this year but are interested in volunteering, we need your help! Please email ktnrunningclub@gmail.com to let us know how you are interested in helping! Lastly, please be sure to register before September 7th to guarantee swag inventory on day of race. If you register after September 7th, your silipint glass may not be ready on race day and will have to pick up at later date. We will have t-shirts (limited sizing available) from last year's race for sale!
