Seward Parks & Recreation is proud to bring you our 37th Annual Exit Glacier Race. The Exit Glacier Race is open to all ages and ability levels. The race offers a 5K or 10K run on (mostly) paved road with a gradual decline. Register the whole family for this popular Seward event, now during the Mermaid Festival and the SHOW (Seward Harbor Opening Weekend)! Join us for a quick awards ceremony around 11:30 .m.
After, treat your team to a delicious lunch at the Resurrection Roadhouse. Thank you, Kenai Fjords Tours for the shuttles to the race start lines, which are 5K and 10K from the Resurrection Roadhouse.See you at the starting line!
Check in / bib pickup: Resurrection Roadhouse parking lot.
You will be shuttled to the 5K and 10K starting lines. Please arrive by 9:30 a.m.. The last bus departs the Roadhouse at 9:40 a.m.

Q. Are dogs allowed?
A. No. Dogs are prohibited from the race and from start and finish lines. Please leave all dogs at home. Service animals are always allowed.
Q. Is same day registration allowed?
A. Yes BUT you must register and pay online at runsignup.com by 9am on Sat, May 18. No paper registrations are accepted for this event.
Q. When is bib pickup?
A. Bib pickup is Fri, May 17 from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Sports & Rec office at the AVTEC Gym OR Saturday morning at the Resurrection Roadhouse parking lot beginning at 8 am.
Q. May we bring our strollers or kids' bikes?
A. No. No strollers, no bikes, no walkers.
Racers participating in the Torch Run (held at the same time) are required to communicate with Torch Run officials to arrange walker transportation.
Q. How can I volunteer?
