Description
Join us at the Arab City Park for the Poke Salat 5k on May 18, 2024, then head over to downtown to enjoy the 40th annual Poke Salat Festival!
The 5k will start at 8am and will be an out and back starting near the skate park, although the course isn't too flat or too hilly...it is challenging! 5k registration will be $25 and will include t-shirt. There will be a $3 up-charge for shirt sizes 2XL and 3XL.
Bib and shirt pick up will be Thursday May 16th at Fleet Feet Huntsville from 3pm – 6pm, and Friday, May 17th from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Arab City Park. Race Day pick up May 18th from 6:45 AM to 7:30 AM. Priority registration ends Friday, April 26th.. Registrations submitted after April 26th will not receive a t-shirt. There will be no race day registration at this moment.
The 5K course is NOT a certified course by USATF. Awards will be given to Top 3 male and female 5K participants of each age group. 5K age divisions are as follows: 10 & under, 11-15, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & up. Awards will also be given to the top 3 overall and masters male and female.
