Athens High School JROTC Jingle Bell Jog 5K

**ATTENTION**

THIS RACE IS CONSIDERED A FUN RUN SO INDIVIDUAL TIMES WILL NOT BE TRACKED. WE WILL, HOWEVER, KEEP TIME WITH STOP WATCHES. AWARDS WILL ONLY BE GIVENS TO OUR JROTC TEAM WINNERS. WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO DRESS IN FESTIVE ATTIRE!

PACKET PICKUP/LATE REGISTRATION WILL BE ON FRIDAY, 6 DEC AT 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM AT THE ATHENS HIGH SCHOOL JROTC DEPARTMENT (Follow signs to "A" Parking Lot- South to enter building). RACE WILL BE HELD AT THE USUAL LOCATION BEHIND THE ATHENS MIDDLE SCHOOL ON HWY 31 (OLD TENNIS COURT AREA).

This race has been coordinated to help raise funds for the JROTC department at Athens High School and to promote physical activity.  The purpose of JROTC is to teach leadership, citizenship, and teamwork within our students.

Race will begin and end at Athens Middle School, Athens, AL.  There will be one water station mid-way through the course.  The course will be flat and fast.  Post-race refreshments will be provided to all runners. Athens High School JROTC reserves the right to cancel the race due to inclement weather.  There will be no refunds. Race shirt sizes can not be guaranteed to registrants after November 29, 2024.

Race Day Registration

Race day registrations will be accepted beginning at 6:45am.  Registration will end promptly at 7:30am.

8:00am - Race begins

JROTC team awards immediately after race conclusion.
