Description

The Auburn Firefighters Association will host the 2nd Annual Brookshire Memorial 5k and Fun Run to honor Captain Roger Brookshire who was killed in the line-of-duty on January 23rd, 1977. Captain Brookshire was electrocuted while attempting to save the life of an Auburn citizen. Proceeds from this event will be given to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation in memory of Captain Brookshire. Please make plans to attend or consider donating if you are able. If you would like to make a tax deductible donation or would like sponsorship information please email the Auburn Firefighters Association (auburnfirefightersassociation@gmail.com).
