Noccalula MTB Time Trials

Mountain Bike Time Trials are coming to NOCCALULA FALLS!

Starting at 1pm on March 20th a queue will form behind the chapel at the falls. Riders are welcome to join the queue at any time between 1pm & 6pm with their bib number properly displayed. (All riders must register or check in at the pavilion before joining the queue.)
A rider will be released onto the course approximately every 30 seconds at the timer’s discretion, if a line has formed.(They may hold the next rider for a longer period to make sure timing is accurate so please be patient.) If the chute is empty you can ride right up to the line & be released onto the course. We’ve designed this to be a long lasting, hang out & enjoy each other’s company type of event. No need to rush to the queue you’ll have plenty of time to get your ride in!
The course has been mapped out & designed by a local legend & will be approximately 4.5 miles long. Ending with a fast, flat, gravel push back to the finish line behind the chapel.
Each rider is allowed 2 attempts at the course if he or she chooses to use them both. The timers will record your fastest lap of the 2.
There are 3 categories.
“General Registration” is for any rider who chooses to enter it regardless of gender, age, weight or bike type.
“Clydesdale Registration” is for any rider over 200lbs that wishes to complete in a more weight friendly pool of riders. (Completely optional, General Registration is also available)
“Single Speed Registration” is for those who wish to ride a single speed bike & compete against others who will do the same. (Completely optional, General Registration is also available)
Times will be posted by age groups announced in the coming days & awards will be given to the fastest time in each group. Male & Female will be separated.
ALL AGES ARE WELCOME TO RIDE!!
If the timers see a wide age gap in the queue they may hold the next rider longer to avoid any need to pass & slow down your time.
Event shirts are available for the first 60 registered so don’t wait!
