Description
The Buttahatchee River Fall Fest 5K has been scheduled for Saturday Oct. 29th. Race Registration/Start/Finish will be on the east side parking lot of the Bevill State Community College campus
This 5k race is a road course that has may participants setting personal bests. It begins with a loop through the community college before exiting to a residential area. There is a turn out to a long straightaway portion along the main thoroughfare in Hamilton before looping back to the Bevill State Campus.
The Riverfest 5K is sponsored by the Hamilton Kiwanis Club and in conjunction with the annual Buttahatchee River Fall Fest and proceeds from the race will go to support college scholarships awarded to Hamilton High School seniors who best represent the ideals of the Kiwanis Club of Hamilton. It also supports the clubs charitable efforts like Christmas for Kids, and Christmas Food Baskets
