It's (almost) time to book your tickets to run Boston! The Boston or Bust Marathon will be an extremely flat and fast course along Aldridge Creek and Tennessee River in South Huntsville. The course will start and finish at Ditto Landing Marina and is entirely on the Alridge Creek Greenway.
We will have Chip Timing and both half and full marathon courses will be certified.
..And then there's the post race party. We will have post race food for all finishers, 2 drink tickets, post race music, all at the Ditto Landing Marina Pavilion. We believe in training hard, racing hard and celebrating hard and this race will be no different!
Historically the last window to qualify for the following April Boston race is the second weekend in September. This is one of the very few last minute qualifiers in the South. Average Temperatures at this time of year are 64F/ 87F which is why we will start at 6:00AM.

Calling all volunteers! We always need fantastic volunteers and we have a volunteer program to help save you some dough. Volunteers who work a 5 hour shift will receive free entry into a future RunningLane Event 1/2 Marathon distance and shorter. Volunteers who work (2) 5 hour shifts or (1) 8+ hour shift will receive free entry into a future RL Event 50 Miler and down OR (2) races 1/2 marathon and down. The Marathon & Half Marathon will start at 6:00AM Central Time.

There are no refunds, credits, deferrals or friend/ family transfers on entries. We do not mail shirts or medals to participants unable to make the event as left over shirts are donated.
SHIRTS & AWARDS & CUTOFFS
The Boston or Bust Marathon & Half Marathon will receive all receive a t-shirt.
The Marathon & Half Marathon runners will also receive a blingin' Boston or Bust finisher medal.
Age group awards will be top 3 in each AG: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ for the Boston or Bust Half Marathon & Marathon.
There are VERY generous cutoffs for the Half Marathon. We want everyone that wants to tackle their first half to have the opportunity to do so. Therefore, the Half Marathon cutoff is 5 hours. The Marathon cutoff is 6 hours. This is due to many factors including road & park permits. If you cannot run under 5:45, please consider signing up for the Half. Plus you get to eat post race hamburgers and hot dogs sooner 😎
All runners that hit a Boston Qualifier will receive a commemorative pin that can be pinned to the bottom of your finisher medal!

Want a chance to earn back some of that registration fee?
It’s easy - encourage your friends and family to join you for the Boston or Bust Marathon & Half Marathon and receive a refund of $25 (5 referral registrations for eligible events). Have lots of friends? Sure thing, if 10 friends sign up you will receive $50 refunded back from your registration and so on.
How does it work?
After you complete your online registration for an eligible in-person event, your confirmation email will contain a unique URL link that you can share with friends and family. Every time that link is used by someone who completes a registration, we’ll keep a tally.
(Note: Referral refunds will be awarded only once you have reached five (5), ten (10) and fifteen (15) referrals. Maximum refund allowed is $75. The amount will be applied to the credit card on file with your RunSignUp account)
How do I participate?
Referrals can only be credited to you when a registration is completed using your unique URL. Make sure your friends and family use your link to get to the registration site!

PACKET PICKUP
Packet pickup will be on Saturday September 7th, 2024 at Fleet Feet Huntsville from 12-5pm. Fleet Feet Huntsville is located at 2722 Carl T Jones Dr SE B2, Huntsville, AL 35802. There will be packet pickup race day morning beginning at 5:00am (race starts at 6:00am sharp!) but we HIGHLY recommend you pick up Saturday.
