MEGA FUN MEGA RUN 5K

The Mega Fun Mega Run is a 5K Run/Walk open to all ages and experience levels, taking place on August 23, 2025 at Langan Park in Mobile, AL. The race offers a scenic and enjoyable course through one of Mobile’s most popular parks, featuring flat, paved trails, shaded paths, and a peaceful loop around the central pond. Whether you're racing for time or walking for fun, this event is a great way to get moving in a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

PACKET PICK-UP: Packet pick-up will be available the morning of the race from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM at the Langan Park Pavillion, and also the day before, August 22nd, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the University of South Alabama SGA Pavilion (6341 John Counts Dr Mobile,Al 36608). All registered participants will receive a race shirt featuring the official Mega Fun Mega Run 5K logo. After the race, stick around for post-race activities including food, music, awards, and more information about Mega Musical Chairs, the exciting fundraiser this race supports.

AWARDS: Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as to the top finishers in the following age categories: 0–9, 10–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70–79.

WHY WE RUN: Proceeds from the Mega Fun Mega Run support Mega Musical Chairs, a student-led charity event taking place October 3rd at The Grounds (1035 Cody Rd N, Mobile, AL 36608). The event kicks off at 6:00 PM and is open to the entire community. Tickets are $10 and include dinner, an event shirt, raffle tickets, and entry into the musical chairs competition. The top three winners of Mega Musical Chairs will earn the opportunity to donate the funds raised throughout the year to a charity of their choice.
