1st Annual Alabama Distance Classic

Welcome to the 1st Annual Alabama Distance Classic! The event will take place at Park Crossing's High School Track in Montgomery Alabama. We will have official timing there so all times will be official and will show up on Mile Split. The event will take place on Saturday February 24th. We will have events that Alabama High School meets don't usually offer. The event list will go as following in order(Rolling schedule) Starting at 5:00 pm :

Top 5 of each event get medals( Diamond and Gold). All participants will receive a shirt.  

The races will be split into 2 categories: Diamond and Gold. 

Diamond Boys -1 mile( under 5:00).  800 ( under 2:20).  1k( either a 57 400, 2:15 800, or 4:55 mile/1600). 2 mile( under 11:00). 5,000 Meter( either sub 18 minute 5k time in cross country or sub 11 minute 2 mile)

Diamond Girls- 1 mile( under 6:15). 800( under 2:45). 1k( either a 1:12 400, 2:45 800, or 6:15 mile/1600). 2 mile( under 13:00). 5,000 Meter( Either Sub 19:30 5k time in cross country or sub 13 minute 2 mile)

Gold Boys and Gold Girls are for anyone that didn't meet the qualifying Diamond times. If you would like to run in the Diamond races but don't have a qualifying time to do so please email:  aldistanceclassic@gmail.com
