The Grove MGM 5K Fun Run/Walk and Open House

Join us to welcome The Grove MGM to the Montgomery community! The Grove supports young women transitioning out of Foster Care in Alabama.
They provide dignified, affordable housing and support to bridge the gap between the foster care system and independence. Your participation and/or donation contributes to the final phase of renovation of the building and goes towards sponsoring the future young women who will call The Grove their home. On Saturday, 26 April 2025 we will have a fun run/walk starting and ending at The Grove MGM at 599 S Hull at 8:00AM. The run/walk will take runners and walkers through the historic streets of downtown Montgomery. Along the course, you will see the Alabama State Capitol building, the Rosa Parks Bus Stop and Court Square Fountain, the Rosa Parks Museum and the Davis Theater, The National Memorial for Peace and Justice, and The Mothers of Gynecology Park. 

After completing the 5K, stay and fellowship with other members of your community in the Grove's lovely outdoor gathering area, and take a tour of the newly renovated, beautifully-designed future home of young women who have aged out of the foster care program in our community. 

We will have coffee, snacks, and a food truck. Bring the family for this meaningful day of restoration.

All participants can take home with them a special token of appreciation saying "I ran for the Grove"!

The first 3 finishers of the following categories will receive special recognition: 

Children aged 0-14 Male and Female

Adults aged 15-99 Male and Female
