Description

Finish Line Events presents:

Run of the Century — Endurance Meets Experience

What it is:
A 24-hour, 100-mile road challenge where individuals can attempt the full distance solo—or share the load in 2- to 5-person relay teams. The course is 5, 20-mile loops inside Oak Mountain State Park.

The vibe:
More than a race—this is an endurance-focused experience built around community, joy, and pushing limits. It’s about testing your resolve, training hard, and doing it all within a festival-like atmosphere where your completion is the achievement—not your rank.

Why it works:
 • Choose your own challenge: Whether you’re chasing the full 100 miles, splitting the distance with teammates, or simply using the time to train, you set the pace and the goal within the 24-hour window.              • Movement + community: Solo runners and relay teams share the same course, creating camaraderie, shared energy, and motivation all day and night.
 • Wellness and recovery at the core: Between your miles, immerse yourself in recovery clinics, training with pros, stretching zones, and nutrition demos to refine your endurance skills.
 • Festival atmosphere: Expect a lively infield of vendor activations, expert-led sessions, group clinics, and social spaces—all built to support, connect, and celebrate runners.
•We encourage all solo participants and relay teams to set up a 10x10 tent space, located at our Start line. There are ample restrooms, electricity, showers, and space. Feel free to decorate and own your area!

What you gain:
 • A high-energy endurance test that feels meaningful whether or not you reach 100 miles.
 • Expert guidance on strength, mobility, nutrition, and pacing.
 • A supportive community, camaraderie, and shared triumphs on the road and beyond.
 • A unique blend of grit and enjoyment—challenge yourself, learn, recover, celebrate.

100 miles in 24 hours: Endure, Recover, Connect - your ultimate road challenge."
