Shamrock'in The Block Lucky Dawg Rescue Charity 5K Run / Fun Run and Walk

Prepare yourself for some shamrocks and dog barks! This race will be for the Lucky Dawg Rescue Charity. Participants will pick up their race packet at the Big Springs Park Pavilion. This will also be the start and finish point for the race. Dogs are more than welcome, and we would love to see them out! Please remember that all dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and must be friendly!

The race will start with a runner's only 5K run at 9:00am followed by the 5K Fun Run and 5K Walk (dog's welcome) at 9:15am. Participants in Fun Run/Walk are more than welcome to just walk their dog if running isn't an option. When you show up to pick up your race packet, there will be an additional waiver to fill out and then you will receive your Lucky Dawg T-Shirt! We ask that participants please try to show up at least 10 minutes prior to the race starting in order to fill out the waiver and make the event run as smooth as possible! There will be medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for Males/Females/Youth. Also 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals will be given to the first 3 dogs that cross!  There will be a water station at the finish with fruit, bottled water, and dog watering stations. There will also be a dog watering station at the halfway point of the 5K.
