Description

The Rock, Paper, Run 5k has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 18.

We’re excited to announce that the rescheduled date for the Rock, Paper, Run 5K is Sunday, May 18!

All current registrations have been automatically moved to the new date on the RunSignup platform. If you’re able to join us on May 18—great! You don’t need to do anything further.

If you cannot attend on May 18, you have a couple of options:

✅ Transfer your registration to another participant

Log into your RunSignup account and “gift” your registration to someone else. The new participant will take your registration with no additional fees.
Transfers must be sent and approved by Wednesday, April 23 at 11:59 PM.

💛 Switch to being a Spirit Runner (Virtual Option)

If you’d rather not transfer your registration but still want to support the event, you can update your registration to be a Spirit Runner directly on RunSignup.

❗Please note: As noted on the race site from the beginning, refunds are not available for this event. We appreciate your understanding and support.

Packet Pickup and T-shirts Update

If you registered for the April 6 race, your shirt is ready for pickup at the Argenta Library (420 Main St., NLR) Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM (open until 8 PM on Third Fridays). You can also pick up your shirt, bib, and timing chip on race day starting at 7:00 AM. If you can’t attend the new date, please let staff know when picking up your shirt so we can get you your custom medal.

If you ordered a shirt after April 15, it will be available on race day along with your bib and timing chip.

Team Discount

New this year, the race will include team registration. Groups of five or more will receive a discount of $3 per person when they register at one time. Get your book club, coworkers, or friends together and save!

This is a fun run/walk. Most of the route will use sidewalks.

Starting at Argenta Library at 420 Main Street in North Little Rock
Turn Left on 5th Street
Turn Left on Broadway
Enter and stay on the Broadway Pedestrian bridge
Turn Left on the Riverfront Park Trail
Turn Left on the Clinton Bridge
Turn Left on Riverfront Drive
Turn right on Poplar
Left on 4th street
And through alley back to Argenta Library.

Timing and Awards

Race timing services will be provided by Agee Race Timing using their advanced RFID chip timing system. Chips will be attached to your shoes or each hip. Please be prepared to wear bib front facing on your torso area.

Chip Instructions:
For accurate timing and race results follow these instructions:

Tags should hang freely off the outside of EACH shoe on shoelaces. They should not be tucked inside the shoe or under the laces.
If shoes don’t untie, pin the plastic tags on the bottom edge of your shorts on each hip (on your side) below the shirt line.
Before you leave the event please place both shoe tags in the plastic tub near the finish line so that we can recycle and reuse the shoe tags.

Awards:

Awards will be given to the top racer in the following age groups: 0-9; 10-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; and 80 and over. There will also be awards for top male and female racers.
All participants will receive a custom medal featuring our Rock Paper Run 5k logo.

Refuel after the race with a stop at Blackberry Market. Show your race bib or medal on race day only and enjoy 10% off your purchase. Located at 315 N Main St Suite A, North Little Rock, AR 72114, it is just a short walk from the Argenta Library—the perfect spot to relax and recharge.

Flyway Brewing, located at 314 Maple St, North Little Rock, AR 72114, will also be offering a race day discount of 15% when participants show their bib or medal.

These special offers are available only on the day of the race, so be sure to take advantage while you celebrate your finish.

Registration and Race Guidelines

Registration Guidelines:

There will be NO refunds for this race.
Entries are non-transferable.
Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions.
Registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to "Acts of God."

Race Guidelines:

Headphones, iPods, and MP3 players are strongly discouraged during the race.
No pets are allowed on the course.
No littering, smoking, or consumption of alcohol permitted.
Unregistered runners are not allowed. Bandits will be disqualified from this and future races.
Numbers must be worn on the front and be clearly visible at all times.
For safety, runners who withdraw during the race must inform a race official or aid station volunteer.
No rollerblades, bicycles, or skate boards.
Baby joggers will be allowed but will start behind all runners and walkers.
