Sunnyside Up 5K and Kids Fun Run

Race Day Packet Pick-up: 7:15-7:45AM at The Coconino Highschool Track.

The start of the Sunnyside up 5K is at the cul-de-sac at the north end of Izabel Street in front of Coconino High School.  Head south on Izabel Street to a loop around Sixth, back up Izabel, through the HS parking lot, around and finish on the east end of the track!

Started over 40 years ago the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association gained its 501 c 3 status in 1999. Since its inception this resident-created, resident-lead organization has been diligently working on addressing the social determinates of health for fellow residents and others in the broader community.

Team Run Flagstaff began in 2006 as a community running program affiliated with the Center For High Altitude Training. In 2010, the community running group found new life as Team Run Flagstaff opening the running experience to people of all ability levels and interests.

Through organized training, expert coaching, educational workshops, the group cultivates an atmosphere that allows beginning runners and elites to share their love of fitness, health, and sport with group runs, cross training, track workouts, social events, races and race partnerships, and educational offerings that cover everything from trail safety to nutrition while building a sense of community.
