Description

                                    **EVENT WILL BE LIMITED TO 100 PARTICIPANTS**

Join us at the inaugural Arizona - Run, Ride, Run Youth Duathlon. 

Run along Old Litchfield Rd, and Staggs Park. The bike portion takes place along a community path and along Old Litchfield Rd and the run runs long Old Litchfield Rd and around the Tierra Verde Lake Park.

This is a USAT sanctioned event.
All participants must be a USAT member or purchase a one day membership.

What does it mean to be a USAT SACTIONED EVENT? It means that USA Triathlon provides insurance to the event so it can take place.  USAT will also covers each individual participant in case of an accident during the event. Additional benefits are the all-race results are reported to USAT and each participant gets national rankings. 

Cost of USAT membership $10.00 and this is an annual membership. If you participate in any other triathlon event that is sanctioned by USAT, you do not have to purchase another USAT membership.

Event Schedule

Please pick up timing chip 30 minutes before your event start-  BIKE HELMETS ARE MANDATORY! NO HELMET = NO RACE.

WE HAVE COLORED ARROWS FOR EACH AGE GROUPS, PARTICIPANTS ARE TO FOLLOW THEIR COLOR ARROW ALONG THE COURSE.

8:00 am Start 13-14  and 11-12 COLOR GREEN
8:00 am Start 6 and Under - COLOR YELLOW
8:30 am Start 9-10 and 7-8 - COLOR RED

Event Rules

  • You can only setup your bike in between events. No one will be able to get in during the event to allow the current event their space.
  • Parents are not allowed to be in transition area (except 1 parent for the 6 and under event)
  • Athletes must put their bike back in their area, any bike not posted correctly will get a 30 second time penalty

Event t-shirt and finisher medal

Awards

We will have awards for each age group for boys and girls. Top 3 boy and top 3 girls.
