Description
Come join us for one of the most iconic races in Southern Arizona! Sabino Canyon located in the Coronado National Forest, is one of the most beautiful desert canyons in the American southwest and a true jewel of the Tucson community. This unique 7.4 mile race is designed to capitalize on the majestic nature of Sabino Canyon to provide a unique opportunity to experience the challenges of a great race in a truly magnificent setting.
This race often sells out quickly and we are restricted to a certain number of registrants per distance so we cannot do any REFUNDS, SUBSTITUTIONS, REPLACEMENTS or WAIT LIST.
*Runners in the 7.4 Mile event must maintain a sub-19 minute per mile pace. Runners must arrive at the turnaround point at the top of the tram road within 70 minutes (6:40PM) and the third aid station at mile 5.1 within 95 minutes (7:05PM) or they will be pulled from the course. This is for safety reasons and so that our volunteers can come off the course within a reasonable time. If you are a walker and cannot maintain a pace faster that the described above, we request that you do the 2 mile event.

- 7.4 MILE - Awards for both male and female, Top 3 overall, Top Masters, Top 3 in 5 year age groups up to 80+ will include Performance Footwear and Summit Hut gift certificates.
- 7.4 MILE and 2 Mile registrants will receive a super-soft race shirt.
- 7.4 MILE finishers will receive a super-cool finisher medal.
- All will enjoy Eegees, Pizza, Snacks, Music and fun at the finish line for all!
