You understand that this event will be conducted with wave starts on an open course. You accept that you will be running individually, on your own, and that it is your responsibility to be completely self-sufficient including, but not limited to, providing your own nutrition and hydration. The courses will be marked by OYL and police will manage traffic at any major road sections (road race only). However, you are responsible to know your course (review course maps). By registering, you understand and accept that no aid stations, medical support, or any other services of any kind will be provided by the race organizers on the course.
Furthermore, you agree that you are in good health and symptom free from any illness including Coronavirus. The CDC recognizes the following symptoms which may appear 2-14 days before: Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Fever, Chills, Muscle pain, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell for at least 2 weeks prior to the event. If you have any of those symptoms NOW or 2 WEEKS prior to this event - you understand that YOU ARE REQUESTED NOT to participate or attend the event.
Upon approaching the starting area, you are required to wear a mask. You will stand next to one of the start cones.You will not be allowed to congregate or conduct any race preparation (warm-ups, stretching, adjusting or changing apparel, etc.) in the starting area. You should approach the starting line ready to run. You agree to adhere to all safe distancing practices including, but not limited to, remaining a minimum distance of 6 feet from other participants, spectators, event staff and volunteers.
