Do you need volunteers?

Where does the race start and finish? What times?
All races start and finish at the Beer City Festival area in Radium Runway which is immediately adjacent to Waterfront Park in Alameda (directions). Start times are:
10k at 9am
5k at 9:15am
Questicorn 9:30am
Where do I park? Is it free?
Parking is on street. We recommend, also, the Sea Plane Lagoon Ferry parking, which is a short walk from the Start/Finish (directions.)
What are bib pickup times and locations?
You can pickup your bib (and shirt) at these times/places:
Friday, October 13, 2023, 4 - 6pm Almanac Brewing, 651 Tower, Alameda (directions)
Saturday, October 14, 2023 7:30am on Start/Finish (directions)
What kind of schwag is there?
Each finisher receives a soft and wonderful Beer City shirt, a Beer City tasting glass, a custom bib, and the coveted Key Beer City medal.
Will there be beer? What else will be at the finish?
There will be beer tastes of some of the brews that will be poured later in the day at the Festival. Each racer that is over 21 receives two tastes and perhaps more if you ask. There will also be post-race treats and drinks. The post race party closes at noon to make way for Beer City Festival.
Is admission to Beer City Festival Saturday included? What happens at the Festival?
Alameda 10k/5k do not include festival entry. You have a chance to purchase that for a 40% discount when you check out. Stick around for the fun! Beer City Festival is a full-blown afternoon of fun with bands, circus performers and 25 beverage brands. To learn more and see the brewer lineup, visit the Beer City Alameda ticket center.
